5 things GOD’s children should NEVER worry about

In 2 Timothy it talks about how if we were to died with Christ, we will also live with him, if we endured, we will also reign with him, if we disown him, he will also disown us, if we were faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself. The thing is we have a God that loves us without any limits and will be with us till the end. We are just too caught up in our own little lives that  can end any second, instead of  seeing how great the Love of Christ is . Below are a few things  among many others  that he promises us, as his Children  to Never worry about.

1. Being Forsaken

We are created in the Lord’s image. As a image that is created by the Lord, we are made to worship, glorify, praise and sing songs of love, joy, peace and delight ourselves in the Lord. But instead we have totally changed that, we use this image to worship things of this world, to be mean to others, to think we are better. WE  even use our mouths to speak mean ugly things to others, then at the same time we praise the Lord who is everything good. There is a problem with that, because as far as i know clear water and dirty water can’t flow from the same spring. In the middle of all this, no matter how bad, mean, nasty or disgusting we are the lord says ” Never will i leave you, never will i forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5  You have a love like this that is limitless. You say you love the Lord, then strive to change for him, Have a willing heart and Change. BE TRANSFORMED.

2. Feeling useless

You my Dear friend, You are made in the Lord’s image. A image that comes with many amazing talents, and gifts. So whenever you feel useless, unworthy or totally Crappy. Remember you serve a God that moves mountains, Who created the galaxies and out of all those things the most beautiful, talented, and amazing thing he ever created was you. Just like how there is no sin bigger than the other, the same thing with gifts and talents. The is no big gifts or small gifts, they are all equal and they all need each other to function well. If you were created to serve, go out and serve, if you were created to be amazing funny and make people smile then go out and do that. If you were created to be an observe and listen and be a peacemaker then go out and do that. The world needs you and anyone who says otherwise. Well they didn’t create you and clear they don’t know you. And show them the Love of Jesus. 1 Corinthians 12:12-31

3. The Future

Whenever anyone reads Jeremiah 29:11 which says ” For i know the plans i have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you , plans to give you hope and future.” they stop right there and keep living their lives. We forget to read verse 12 and 13 which talks about how we will call upon his name and pray to him and he will listen to us. And that if we seek him with our whole heart we will find him then he will fulfill our desires that it talks about in verse 11. Don’t just read what you want to hear, but also read what you NEED to know. Yes the Lord has us in his hands, yes the Lord knows our future, yes we will prosper and have a good future. But only if we seek him with our whole heart and find him, putting our own wills aside and pursuing his WILL. In  John 14:1-3 Jesus tells his disciples that he is going to prepare a place for  them. That they need not to be troubled but Trust in the Lord. We won’t get to the father’s house by just sitting and not reading the Word and spreading what we are learning. So prepare yourselves, tell people about the Wonderful Father in Heaven. Don’t let Jesus be apart of your life, But instead let Jesus be YOUR life. Don’t worry about the future, because the Lord has it all planned out, so dont make any plans. Instead pursue HIS WILL.

4. Bothering God with Prayer

For me Prayer is a another word for Talking, chatting with the Lord, being real and just pouring everything out to him. So when you think you are bothering him you are being absolutely silly. In 1 peter 5:7 says ” Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” But in verse 6 its says ” HUMBLE yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” it says to HUMBLE yourself, the opposite of Humble is being conceited, arrogant, proud and many other words. So whenever you think that you are ugly, when you are drop dead beautiful you are being prideful without knowing it. When you think you are bothering your friends about your problems and such well that is arrogance right there because those friends were put in your life for a reason. Whenever people want to serve you and provide, but you reject them, then you are conceited, instead of Humbling yourself and saying thank you. So humble yourself and bring your problems to the Lord, except that you are beautiful, talk to your friends and open up and be Humble not proud. Being humble is accepting help, and guidance. Not rejecting help and being taken care of.

5. Feeling unforgiven

Lets go back, back to the dark ages haha kidding. Lets go back to Jacob, he was forgiven and the Lord was with him.  Joseph he was thrown into a hole by his brothers and  he ended up forgiving them. David killed a man, took his wife, and well yeah he was forgiven, Solomon so many wives and concubines, he was forgiven and the Lord was with him. Peter ,Jesus’ best man friend,  he denied him, but he was forgiven. PAUL people he killed many many of the Lord’s followers and apostles but he was forgiven. The point is no matter what you have done don’t be afraid, dont pity yourself so much to the point of no return. In 1 John 1:9 it says ” If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” See Christ Jesus was 100 percent man once upon time, he understand the struggles, the temptations, the troubles and he is just and faithful and will forgive you. Along the way you will learn to Listen to the Holy spirit So you won’t sin as much or mess up as often.

Stressing, Being afraid, and over worrying.

John 14:27  says “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” You are given PEACE, its yours to use, to keep and to hold on too. But we have this thing in our minds that don’t want us to be calm and embrace the peace when things don’t go right. instead we panic, we stress, we become fearful and next thing you know. We are not eating well, were depressed and just out of your mind. But the Lord say come to me, my yoke is easy. Come to me and take this peace upon yourself, this peace is like no other, the world will never fulfill you only i can.
To Our Wonderful, faithful, and amazing Father in heaven, Thank you for shaping me, and your constant reminder of who i am, and who i am to be. All glory to you!!!

To everyone, i hope this blessed you as it blessed me.

Leave a comment and tell me what you think:)

Be Blessed!!!!

From him, To her : A woman After God’s Heart

Out of all my years, I have realized that man is always looking for a satisfactory woman to fit him. Even at very young ages boys always seem to want a girl by his side to call girlfriend. I have done my searching over the years and I have always watched and observed to see if this girl or that girl could ever be my wife. The fact of the matter is that I wasn’t ready for a relationship, yet I still desired to have that relationship with a girl.

Having observed all of my life the characteristics needed in a partner, I wrote some of the things I liked.

#1 Love God more than anyone/anything else

This is my first and foremost must to even consider a girl to have a relationship with. The reason why is because many times girls will depend on the guy too much to fulfill all her needs that it is literally impossible for that guy to fill the expectancy of the girl’s needs that she puts on him. If she loves God more than anything else then the fact of the matter is that she will depend on Him (Who is perfect) rather than her man, who is imperfect. The relationship that she has with God and the love that she portrays in that relationship towards Him can secure the fact that she will treat in the same kind of way. God is the author of love, and if she is in love with the Creator of love, you can be sure that she will love you very much indeed.

#2 Sacrifice

Sacrifice is very important because this means that she will go out of her way to show her man that she loves him. To tell a person they love another is very important, but to show through actions that you love another speaks life, and absolutely uplifts the other. She will put down what she wants so that the needs are met first in the relationship.

#3 Honesty

Honesty is very important. A relationship should have no walls, doubts, or hidden things. If there is, she will tell you and expose them to you. If there are these things then there is something wrong. A woman will present herself from who she is really and be herself and not wear a mask of any sort with anybody. Wearing masks and being two-faced with different people IS lying not only to them but to her man and especially herself.

#4 Dignity

The way that the woman sees herself. Dignity is satisfied with her, and does not want to be anybody else. Dignity does not define her beauty based on her outward appearance but instead bases it on her heart. Wherever her treasure is then there her heart will be also (whatever she cares about too). If she treasures sex, drugs, alcohol, money, showing off her body in any way, spends money really fast, she hangs around with a bad crowd, or does things for the approval of others… etc. Her heart will also be in those things. Dignity instead aligns her heart with Gods will and not ways of the world. You can be sure that she will hurt you many times IF she is faithful to the ungodly things of this world. But if she loves God and has a relationship with Him she will remain faithful to God, to you, and to her own heart and all of the good things that God counts as good.

#5 Dresses modestly

The reason I say this is because if a girl likes to show off her body in any way she likes to get attention from more guys than the guy that she may be dating. Then she seeks the approval of others and not the one man she should remain faithful to. She seeks for others to look at her appearance instead of being content with the man right in front of her. She desires the wrong thing and whichever guy she is with will never be able to satisfy her enough. In this way she remains faithful to many instead of remaining faithful to just one single person. Which also shows that she is not very strong in her walk with the Lord. A Godly woman needs to  dress well, and learn that her body is not her own its her husbands ( if she has one) and is also a reflection of the Lord, its a temple.

My Pray is that every Godly man out there  finds a woman who is after the Lord’s heart. Who serves, preaches and speaks the wisdom, knowledge and understand of the Lord.  I pray that you don’t settle for the World’s standards, but instead strive for the Lord’s standards. Be blessed

I will pursue You, Lord!

When you are determined and  You set your mind into something, you go in with your whole heart, mind, soul and  give it everything you have. No matter how many times you fail,  get run over, or stumble, you get up and keep moving like nothing happened. Lets do the same thing to the Lord. Everyone lets pursue the Lord! commit to him, constantly have communication with him, and  have confrontation with him. Lets keep our covenant with our Lord and  team up with  the Lord, we know he doesn’t need us, but he has chose us and we are more than  happy to be in his team.

Have Constant Communication

In every relationship, there has to be communication, love, trust, faith and all that good stuff. So the same thing goes with Christ, you can’t have a perfect relationship with our Lord if you don’t talk to him. How are you going to know what he wants for you if you don’t talk to him and pour your whole heart to him?  To completely let down all the walls you have build up and  cry your eyes out to him and ask him to  break you down and build you up the best way, because he is the best and he knows the best for you. Talk to your creator, talk to your Dad and let him help you and fulfill your heart, fulfill your desires. Let him take all the burdens you have away. Stop holding on to those bad memories  when you don’t have too. oh how i cry that you stop pitying yourself and seek the Lord who protects and provides.  STop being prideful that you can help yourself, and let the Lord carry you and love you.

Commit to the Lord

Dear beloved, the world his passing away, don’t let the Love and the faithfulness of the Lord that he has bestow on you pass away with it. instead pursue the Lord, pursue his presence because it is rich, and peaceful, and joyful and nothing  in this world is compare to it. So commit to the Lord. You know how you commit to watching every new episode of your favorite show, do the same thing for the Lord. Be joyful to have a Lord that listens and cares about you. Commit to spending time with the Lord, commit to talking to the Lord, commit being in the Lord his presence. Beloved don’t perish with this world, but choose  to be a daughter or son of the Lord, follow the Lord, love the Lord, be in a relationship with the Lord.

I want to know You

Paul is perfect example of a man who had it all but in order to have the best, he lost it all for the sake of Christ. And in the end he was satisfied with all he had and will never give it up for the World.  Knowing the Lord is all we have ever needed. Nothing in this world will ever fulfill us like the Lord does. No one in this world would ever be there for each one of us 24/7 like you  Lord father. So we are willing, more than willing to let go of everything in this world if it means to be in your presence every day of our lives. Because at the end of the day nothing in this world matters. our clothes, our shoes, our house, ( my invisible car) and many other materialistic things will perish, but your Word Lord your love, your faithfulness and your righteousness will remain. Knowing You Lord is EVERYTHING.   Philippians 3: 7-8 “Whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.”  Let go of everything, so you can have the Best.

Because we are so imperfect

The Lord Jesus Christ, doesn’t love us because we are goody goody and the best people ever. But he loves us no matter what shape or places we are at. so if you have that mindset of ” oh let me change then i will go to Jesus” well beloved you don’t need to be. All you have to do is come to him as you are,  because he already loves you and he is waiting for you to come on home. In Philippians 3:12 says “Not that I have already obtained or am already perfect; but I press on to make it my own.” we seek the Lord Jesus Christ because he is the only perfect one, we seek him in order to be like him, to become like him. We seek his presence because when we are with him he transforms us to be the creation we were created to be.

His Love For Us
HE came, He suffered, HE died, HE rose, HE send the Holy spirit to us. That is the Lord’s love for us. What more can you want, he died for YOUR sins, and he didn’t stop there, he went back to heaven and was like ” i love them so much i cant leave them alone” so he send the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us. i don’t know about you but that is the best Love i have ever seen or heard. it is so wonderful and beautiful that it seems unreal even though it is straight up real. So don’t waste your life on this world, instead spend it spreading the Love of the Lord, spend it being the child of the Lord and being the light to this dark world. So open your heart, let the Lord search you and transform you, then you will really know that you cant live without him, you cant live without his presence.

I love all of you! I pray in the name of the Father, the son, and the Holy spirit that you will pursue the Lord with your whole heart and everything you have. Dont look back and don’t look at your suffering, but embrance being in the Lord’s presence.
I love you God so much! You are so compassionate, so merciful, so caring. I say this from my very heart! God, you have transformed my life. When I was in my deepest depression, when darkness consumed me, when sorrow engulfed my life, you were my light Lord. You picked me up, you loved me, you healed me and continue to heal me. My breakthrough is here! God, if only people knew your sweet sweet love, they would love you too!

All Glory to Him!!!!

The simplicity of his love

Imagine you are a parent, when you have kids of your own and you naturally LOVE them and adore them, and as a parent you  don’t ever want to see harm come to your babies. Well now, imagine that you are the Child and  the Lord our God is your Father. He loves you, cares for you, and all he want to see you do is live righteously.

His Love

The Lord’s love for you and for me is absolutely unconditional. Meaning that his Love for us is NEVER changing. That Jesus Christ, the Man that gave up his throne in heaven to come down here to die for our sins  he doesn’t have to love us, BUT it is because he WANTS to love us. Jesus himself chose to die for us, so why  do we think he could love us any less when we fall short after having him in our hearts? we have to realize that we can do nothing to earn or lose his love. Like a parent to the Child, just because a child mess up many many times, that does not mean the parent stops Loving his child. The same thing with the Lord, he loves, and wants you to come home and stop hiding because of your sins.

You epic fails, setbacks, and short comings.

We have this thing in our minds that seems to reminds us of all this things that has happened to us. And once we start thinking about it, we get down and sad. Some times mad and depressed, or ashamed. And once we start feeling that way, we start questioning the Lord’s love for us. We start feeling unloved and unworthy. We start pushing people away thinking ” oh why would they want to be my friend,” or ” why would they want to know what is going on with me” But the Lord says ” wow you don’t have to go through this alone” Child humble yourself and let me help you, let me lift you up in your bad times. He says ” cast all your anxiety upon me, because I care for you.” Meaning he wants us to go to him in the good, in the bad, and in the ugly, he wants it all. In a way in the midst of our wallowing we become prideful in our episode of sadness, instead of seeking out help we decide to just stay in sadness and let it take us alive. BUT the Lord says in this times, it is when we are supposed to be “self-controlled and alert” because that’s when the enemy is lying around watching and waiting seeing who is his next victim. Instead lets stand firm, resist and keep fighting. And know that you are worthy it, loved, cherished, and absolutely adored. Let all of us embrace our journeys, triumph , struggle,  lesson,  battle and every victory.

The past, present and future.

Your past: Meaning if you had a bad break-up, or your parents got separated, or your “friends” ditched, you have to realize that those things has nothing on you. You bad relationships from your past don’t define you. Just because those things happened in the past, that does not mean they are in your future. So relax and Trust the Lord.  Your present: whatever you are facing right now, that has nothing on you. If you have come this far and you are still breathing, walking, and talking you can’t stop now. Don’t surrender and let your flesh win, keep fighting.  Your future: okay first, we don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow, so we shouldn’t  even be think about it. Instead we should be rejoicing  that we got one more day to live. The point is, none of your past, your present, or future matter because when Jesus said ” IT IS FINISHED”His blood cover all that. So Stop stressing, and start enjoying your blessings:)

Something to think about:)

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.  Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.  Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen. ” 1 Peter 5:6-11

Just so you know, this was for me as much as it is for you, like it says ” the family of believers throughout the word is undergoing the same kind of sufferings” it is indeed true. I am praying for you, as much as a brother or sister in Asian, Europe, or Brazil is praying for you. Be encourage to live the Life the Lord intended for you to live:)

Things the Lord won’t hold against you

The Lord our God, loves us so passionately, so deeply, and so beautifully that he does not care about the things we have done. Instead he wants us to seek him, seek his heart. Keeping in mind that he Loves us no matter what we have done,  said,  messed up on, or what we are addicted too. Because as long as we are constantly seeking him, he will shape us and transform us to look like his Son. He loves us the way we are, but he loves us so much to leave us like this. so Read on and enjoy… i hope you be blessed with this as i was!

Your Past

Everyone has a very interesting past. look at Paul he had a very interesting past, but he ended up serving the Lord in a very big way. Some past can be good and funny and totally amazing, and some can me messed up and totally unreal just like mine. But you know something, those things that happened last month, last year or 4 years ago. They absolutely don’t define me at all. So here is a question, Why hold on to things that have no worth to you at all? all they are doing is keeping you down, and stopping you from reaching your goals in life, which is to be the best person you can be. So, here is something to try, BELIEVE that you are a whole new creation, You are NOT the person you used to be, and that the Father in heaven, your creator the author of time, has already forgiven you and is waiting for you to except it and move on. Focus on the present instead of the past. Remember time doesn’t wait on you, by the time you realize that the past doesn’t matter it might be too late. Rest knowing that the Lord loves you for you and that the past doesn’t matter.

We all make mistakes, we apology, we cry our heart hurts. But really once you think about it, does that really make a difference. How about we stop wallowing in the mistakes we have made, and choose to stand up and face everyday life like a new creation. We are created to be victorious, overcomes, but we have let this world tremble on us and change our perspectives in life. The lord create us to enjoy life, and enjoy having a relationship with him. Instead we sin, we feel bad, we apology, then we get back to the sins again. Its like high school drama, it goes around and around never stops. We need to go back to our first love, see through his lens that we are strong, and beautiful. And that we might face hard times but we will always be victorious if we want too through Christ Jesus.

Everyone worries about something, someone, or you are just a natural worrier. Well, try this new thing. STOP worrying, you don’t have control over anything. You were put here on earth to enjoy the beauty of the trees, flowers, little kids, old kids, old adore people(seriously they are so cute). Those minutes, hours or days you spend worrying, those are hours lost you could have had lunch with someone, encouraged someone, or smiled at someone and make their day. Even the Lord says that we are more important than all the other amazing, beautiful, wonderful creation he made here on earth. Take this life as a gift and do something with it. Bless someone, love someone, and be the person you were created to be.so believe that you are watched over, loved on, and protected. Enjoy life, don’t waste it.

Your mini Addictions

Every single one of us is addicted to something, whether it is lying, cheating, or being a meanie butt. And maybe some can be addicted to sex, drugs, porn or something unknown. The thing to keep in mind is that you can overcome it. its not a permanent thing if you want to change it. Keep in mind that your addiction does not keep the relentless love of Jesus from embracing you. Take a deep breath knowing that you are not alone and ask the Lord to bring peace and joy into you. And ask for The Lord to give you wisdom, knowledge and understanding to defeat the addiction.

Something to keep in Mind.

““For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”Romans 3: 23-26”

Be blessed and go in the name of our creator and author of Salvation. Peace, love and joy be with you:) Glorrry to hiiiim:)

My IDENTITY is found in Christ: How about you?

I have this amazing lovely friend of mine and we talk about everything. So one time we were having a conversation and the whole “where you find your identity” came into the conversation. While we were talking she started listing of where her identity comes from:
 1) She said she is a granddaughter which is a lovely and beautiful thing. Because old people are pretty  wonderful.
  2)  She said she is a best friend, sister and a daughter, which is something every single one of us wants to be.  Unless you are boy, you would want to be a brother and a son heheh.
  3)  She also said she finds her identity in the organizations she is involved in as well as her job.
   4)  And finally she said that she finds her identity in the Christian sorority she is involved in.
As she finished listing all the things she finds her identity in. she looked right at me and told me that all I ever do is go to church, or to a night worship and go to bible study and the only identity I have is in Christ.  I kid you not, I was pretty sad about it.  I looked at my life and I was like wow, I don’t have a job, I don’t even have a car, I am not involved in any of the school organizations, I have nothing going for me.
So just to be clear, I am not trying to prove my lovely friend wrong, if anything I am reassuring myself about who I am. Any who, I started thinking that maybe I shouldn’t be head over heels for the Lord. Maybe I should take a few steps back and see what else is there for me. But the more I searched the empty I became. The more I kept looking, the more lost I became, and my desire to know, to understand about how my only identity is in Christ grew.
Not until yesterday that I fully understood what my friend was saying. She said it plain and simple.  MY IDENTITY IS FOUND IN CHRIST. You see this is all I have ever wanted; I got tired of dressing in a way that people will accept me. So in a way wearing nice clothes become my identity. I got tired of hanging out with certain people, they become my identity too. In today’s age we are slowly letting our jobs, our friendships, our hobbies, the money we make, the food we eat, the car we drive among many other things become our identity. When the true identity should be found in our Lord Jesus Christ.
In 2 Corinthians 5:17  it says “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” You have no idea how happy this makes me. The old me is dead and gone because now I am in Christ. Me being a sister is important but doesn’t define me. Me being a daughter, absolutely important but doesn’t define me. The same thing for you all the things you do are important, but don’t let it become more important than the relationship you have with the Lord.

Also in Galatians 2:20 says “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Once you have that relationship with the Lord, let go of the world and live life to the fullest. Love life, love people, and be you. Christ loves you and wants you to live. Christ dead for us so the least we can do is live for him. Serve him by the way we live the life he dead to give us. CHRIST LIVES IN US. AAAAHHHH

Finally in John 15:5  one of my favorite verses says “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he will bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” Earlier I said when I started questioning my identity I was lost and empty and lonely. Well that entire time I was doing nothing, because I wasn’t’t with Christ. He is my all in all, my everything. I know without him I wouldn’t have any of the things I have in my life today. So its official, my identity is found in CHRIST! i am an orphan adopted by the Lord, i am a daughter of the king, i am loved, cherished, adored and most definitely wonderfully and fearfully made:) oh yeah  Not ashamed. ~~~Be blessed come again:)

Where does your identity come from?

Being Thankful: its not just a one time thing.

Thanksgiving is a time where everyone comes together eats good food and goes around the table and says what they are thankful for. At least that’s how I have seen it on TV.
The Definitions of Thanksgiving is:
1. The act of giving thanks; grateful acknowledgment of benefits or favors, especially to     God.
2. An expression of thanks, especially to God.
3. A public celebration of acknowledgment of divine favor or kindness.
4. A day set apart for giving thanks to God
I like how the Word God is mentioned three times. I like how thanksgiving is defined as giving thanks, and acknowledging the favors the Lord has put in your life. But the thing I don’t like is the fact that it says “a day set apart for giving thanks to God.”  If you know Jesus Christ, then you should know that he doesn’t set a special day apart to bless you or to pay attention to you. Instead he is with you always, and loves you always.
Just to be clear, I don’t hate thanksgiving or anything. Actually I think it’s a great reminded that we should be more thankful throughout our lives. But my point is, don’t wait for a certain day to be thankful. What if you don’t make it to that day then what. But, instead be thankful right now. Thank the Lord for he has kept you alive and well till this day. Praise the Lord because he is worthy of our praise.
In Psalm 30:11-12 it says “you turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. LORD my GOD, I will praise you forever.”  I am pretty sure this has happened to all of us. In sometimes in our  long journey in life I believe the Lord has turned some of our darkest time into the most beautiful times of our life. He has taken all the sadness from our heart and replaced it with joy and love. So don’t dismiss his blessing to you, instead praise him, be grateful and forever proclaim his name and sing songs on how amazing he is.
I like how in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says “in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” It doesn’t say “set a day apart” to give thanks, but in everything you do give thanks. So don’t let today be the only day you are thankful of something, but also let tomorrow be a day you are thankful and then the next day then many more years down the road if the Lord is willing. Because giving thanks to God about all the blessings in your life is a great way to change your heart to one of gratitude. So i challenge you from this day forward, for you to find one thing in your daily life to be thankful of. Talk to the Lord and tell him about it, then write it on Facebook, or  on your journal or tell it to someone. You will be surprised how happier you become each day!  ~ Be blessed 🙂 and Happy Holidays!!!
Things I am thankful for:
Thank you Lord for your lessons, your discipline, your grace, your mercy and your Son, Jesus Christ.

Is God your steering wheel today?

I personally think that as humans in general, we are called to have a spirit of love, of joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, to have faithfulness with each, be gentle, and have self-control when some things don’t go as we planned.  But, of course we have that little voice in our minds that tells us to do the opposite of that. I for one have done that, like for example, whenever I met someone new I always try to act different, or dress in a way that I know they will like or I start picking and choosing who I can hang out with. I believe I still do this right now, but now that I am aware of it I wouldn’t do it as much.  Honestly whether you agree or disagree with me, in some point in your life you have done this in some form, shape, or creature ( hahaha jks).
So this brings me to the story in Galatians where Paul opposes peter. See, peter went to Antioch I guess to visit Paul and see how is preaching there was going. So when he got there I bet from the start he was Happy with eating with whoever he wanted to eat with especially with Gentiles. But when some of his friends from Jerusalem came, he started distancing himself from them. Slowly the other Jews brothers saw this, and they too started distancing themselves from the gentiles even Barnabas one of the traveling buddies of Paul saw this and followed and was led astray.  It is not only back then these things happened, but it is happening today. As Brothers and sisters in Christ we do these kind things when Christ our Lord calls us to not see people from Worldly view but from his perfect lens. He calls us to be united with one another, to be that community to be that One Body of Christ!
When Paul saw the way Peter was acting towards his Gentiles brothers. He literally called him out in front of all the men and told him what he was doing was not right. He told him, you are a Jew that lives like a gentile, not like a Jew, yet you want to force Gentiles to follow Jewish Customs.  You seen in Acts Peter had received a vision about the Gentiles and how they have been made clean by the Lord and that they have the spirit in them.  And at that time he was the Leader and he started practicing to love the Gentiles just like the Lord wanted. So For him to start acting in this way, when he was the leader and a role model, he was leading a lot of people or his brothers not in the right part. So Saul does a good thing by telling him how it is, and tells him not to act in a hypocrisy way. In the same way with us today, we need that Saul in our lives that sees what we are doing is wrong, and calls us on it. So we can try to do better next time. That’s why we need to be united and not divided.
But, you see Paul doesn’t stop there; he keeps on going telling him that a man is not JUSTIFIED by observing the law, but by FAITH in Jesus Christ. He also tells him that when we seek to be justified by Christ, it becomes evident that we ourselves are sinners. He tells him that through the law we died so that we might live for God. Still a lot of Christians today believe that the only way to get to heaven is through observing the law. And being good, and doing everything good, and just being a “good Christian” well it says in psalm that there is none good, not even one. So spread the word, tell the world that “God’s grace alone is the only one that saves us. You can’t EARN your own salvation.”
In Galatians 2:20 it says “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer life, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” See, once you’re a Christian, the big question for your daily life becomes this: who’s driving? Who’s in control? Who’s choosing the direction? Is it you, or is it Jesus? Jesus wants control of your whole life, he wants to steer. And there’s absolutely no question about it: he’ll guide your life way better than you ever could. So… daily, moment-by-moment, give him the control. Let him steer. Then in verses 21 it says “ I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” so see if righteousness is through following the Law and doing everything good, and deciding who to talk to and who not to talk too and being that “ good Christian”. Then Christ died without cause. However, righteousness is through Christ’s death. And Christ’s death has separated us from law. He died so we may have righteousness, through which we may find eternal life.

In Corinthians 6:11 it says “And that is what some of you were (meaning they were sexually immoral, thieves, and they were nothing) But you were WASHED, you were SANCTIFIED, you were JUSTIFIED, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” when you get ready for a party, you take a shower, put on your deodorant (hopefully) and get dressed. Now you’re ready to go! Heaven’s going to be a party. Wanna go! Jesus has to get you ready. His blood, from his death on the cross, makes you clean (washed), he makes you pure (sanctified), and he dresses you with his own rightness (justified). The party is waiting… will you be ready to go?

By my Lovely Friend :Is God in the driver’s seat of your life?

If someone is driving you, don’t you have to trust that person?. Maybe for so long you got to choose the speed, and the destination. And you got to do things your way. A lot of people find it handy to have Jesus in the car…in the passenger seat…because something may come up and we might need his services. Give God the keys, and take the passenger seat.

I encourage you to let God be the one who is steering the car ( being in control) instead of him being your spare tire( your backup plan) -Shannon.

Be blessed and come Again 🙂

Pursuing Christ and Finding Myself

A few days ago I read a story about this young woman who went to college. She planned everything out, did everything right. Picked out her major and moved to different colleges just to make sure the major she picked out was the right one. She went to church, just like we do and she grow in godly relationships. She tried her best to do everything right and strived to be the best she can be. But after three years, in four different majors and three different colleges she still felt like passion and purpose still remained elusive.
Also a year ago for me, I was a mess. I wanted things to be step by step. I wanted control over everything. And I just had to know what I had to do tomorrow. But not just a year ago but last night, my brain still spinning trying to plan everything out. But honestly when it comes down to it, I just stress myself out with the planning and the thinking and the organizing and just everything. Sometimes we just need to breathe and just go with it and believe that things will work out. So far when I just plan it out and let it go things always turn out amazing.  Like the famous saying “Let go and Let God” and if the plans don’t go as I planned, then to a certain point things always turn out alright.
Now in Jeremiah 29:11- 13 says “ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, i will listen to you. you will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
I don’t know about you, but this verses speaks to my spirit and tells me to re-chill (relax and chill ha-ha.) you know how in Hebrews 13: 8 says “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Well that’s how I see it. I know in Jeremiah the Lord was speaking to the Israel, when they were send to exile for 70 years.  But he is also speaking these same words over us yesterday, today and forever. In a way we are kind of sort of send to exile as well in this world.  Just like after 70 years they were brought back home from exiles. The same thing with us, when this world passes the Lord will bring us home as well.  so yes just like the Lord had plans for the Israelites he also has plans for us. Plans that will make us happy and not hurt us, plans that will give us faith and hope and a future that is full of his love and joy and kindness.
I love the fact that he says “you will call my name and pray for me and I will listen to you.” That is absolutely the best love words ever. In this world we sometimes have friends, family or that special someone who is not always going to be there to listen to you and help you out. But the Lord says when you call on me, and pray to me. I WILL listen to you. He is there to comforter you, to provide for you, to protect you, or guide you, and love you like no one else in this world. Remember the same Love, kindness and patients he had for the Israelites, he still has that for us. Because he, he never changes. He is always the same. That’s why when we mess up so many times, his love for us always remains the same. That’s why we need to repent and glorify him for being who he is always and never being lukewarm. And praise him for coming through for us when no one else could. He is the best friend who will never forget us or leave us.
Verses 13 ends with saying “you will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Now when I use to read this I thought you had to pull your heart out or something and start searching for him with a GPS or something. But it means that in everything we do we include him. When we are going through troubles or struggles we look to him. When we are sad and lonely, we talk to him first instead of our friends and tell him how mad or frustrated or want to punch something we feel. Also take time to talk to him. Pray to him, ask for him to help others and be the rock they need.   This also reminds me of Matthew 6:33 which says “But seek first his kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.” see through the stress and just being busy all the time we forget that we have a Lord that will help us out if we just ask and seek his heart. That if we spend more time to get to him, and less time of being of this world then I believe our relationship with him will be so strong and unbreakable. That he will give us his wisdom and be able to encourage others to keep pursuing Christ and find themselves.
I have learned that the Lord did create me and with a purpose. He set me a part for his will; he anointed and appointed me to bring his Word all over the World (If he is willing). He has a plan for me and a very interesting future. Plans not to hurt me but to prosper me,(not that it is always going to be beautiful all the time). But I know in him I will always have joy.  He is always there to listen when I call his name and pray to him. And that I will find him when I let go and let him take control of the crazy train that is called My Life. This life is about finding me:  lost in this world…. And found in Christ.

Note to my lovely friend: so here is my answer. So yes these verses might not be straight forward to us. But certainly the Lord also did say them for us as well. Also in 1 Corinthians. Paul gives a little history on how the Israelites acted and such. 10:8-9 says “some took part in sexual immorality and in one day 23,000 of them died. Some tested the Lord and were killed with the Lord. Some grumbled and were killed by the destroying angel. “Then in 11 it says “these things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us,” You see all those things are warning, examples, life lessons for us. And Then Jesus who is the big picture of how much the Lord loves us and wants us to love him as well, comes and tells us we are worth it and to die for. So the personality, talents and gifts that are in us, are to make a beautiful present out of it to the Lord. Because just as he spoke those wonderful words to them. He also had us in mind when he said them. He knew we were going to read them and love him even more for being who he was then and who he is now.

I hope this is a blessing to you as it was to me.
Be Absolutely blessed in every way and come again 🙂
